no pwo meal but instead another shake + oats ?
due to my time constraint i cant eat a pwo meal so will it be any different if i just drink another whey shake but with like 1 cup of oatmeal added into it ?
nope
as long as you’re getting carbs & protein you’re good. plenty of people have a shake instead of a full meal right after their workout. personally, the thought of a meal disgusts me cause I’m not hungry whatsoever
r u cutting?
IIRC, the ideal ratio was 2:1 carbs to protein
i think he’s asking about the meal after your pwo shake
if you cant eat food, then use the shake. its better than nothing. but food > shake imo

For long time I was doing about 45g protein w/ 60g of waximaize and it worked great. Now I’m nearing the very end of my cut and down to about 45g of each and still golden.
It’s all about what your doing I think, really trying to add mass, 2:1, cutting, 1.5:1 and final portion of the cut 1:1
Those ratios have worked well for me.

I don’t know if i’d say i’m "cutting". I’m more trying to rotate all my carbs around my workout.
Thats what I do. I take in maybe 10-12g of carbs during the rest of the day and about 40 pre and 40 Post right now.
come home at around 9:40pm
wake up at around 6:00am.
i’v already tried lifting/cooking with that given time and i was dead tired by the 3rd day.
lifted until 10:30. drank my pwo shake. ate my pwo meal asap. tried going to sleep by 11:30. doing this for 6 days straight is pretty brutal.

all i can say is that if you want something you will do whatever it takes to be the best at it. I cook all my food for the entire week on sundays.
thats fuckin tons of time lol
come home, throw something in the oven, go cleanup or do whatever you do, eat then sleep

I feel your pain. see if you can prep on one day or organize a meal so all you gotta do is throw it in the oven i.e. wash and chop veggies and throw them in separate tupperware. chop chicken breasts into cubes. when you get home, you throw some veggies and chicken into a baking sheet or frying pan and 10 mins later you got a meal.
what do your meals for the week look like?
