At my gym I almost never see anybody doing wide grip pull ups, I do them all the time. I always see everybody doing decline bench presses but I’ve only done them once ever since I started working out.

it’s just a puppy. i’v been feeding him alot of bacon and mangos. Suppose to make the meat more tender/flavorful.

Stuff I do: Scapular retraction, lots of rear delt work, standing strict overhead pressing, pausing on bench work, legitimately deep squats, deadlifting.

probably deadlifts. i see the occaisional poor squat form. even rare is good squat form.

smith machine
leg press
crowd of bros always working on biceps, tris and shoulders.. all day, everyday
oh, they always on the mat with eachother doing situps and crunches

never seen anyone deadlift or squat

only the huge dudes bench

they are banned at mine
I am the only guy that does deads at my gym. I have yet to see one other person do them. On a related note, today I realize that the only workout that I grunt on is deads… I find it near impossible to do them without a little noise

do: rotator cuff stuff, deadlift variations, weighted wg pullups/cg chinups

don’t: skull crushers, decline bench work

i do the lower back (reverse crunch thing)
i do wide grip chin up/pull ups
i do weighted pushups till im dead

i do smith machine

lots of retarded types of curls
lots of resistance machines
suitcase deadlift
overhead lunges
L pullups
pullthroughs
bulgarian split squats
box jumps
No one else seems to do as many pullups as me total (50).

incline shoulder shrugs (holding bar above head, shrug shoulders up)
weighted forearm pronations/supinations

cardio
over 15 reps, most of the time never over 12

stand around talking for 20 minutes
lifts i do that i haven’t seen:
anything bands/chains/boards
full squats
box squats
rack pulls
power shrugs
face pulls
H-rolls
pull through’s

and doing full ROM or close to it on leg press

always see dudes racking 20+ plates on it and having a 2” ROM
more people seem to use the pullup bar for crunches and stretching than actual pullups

Deadlifts, full ROM squats…

Things that everyone else does and I don’t:

Bicep curls.
I did some overhead squats today for the first time in ages and people looked at me as like I was the second coming of Jesus.

Just tell them it improves your thrust during sex.

upper body warmup
single leg RDL’s
single leg squats
suitcase deadlifts
ankle & hip mobility
side bridges
I don’t do a ton of exercises, but I hardly see anyone squat to parallel, I’ve never seen anyone else deadlift. (I’ve seen guys doing rack pulls though). I think I’ve seen one other guy doing skullcrushers

Things I don’t do, that I see tons of people doing
90� DB presses, sometimes even less ROM.
11ty variations of curls mon thru fri
1/4 squats
11ty reps with almost no weight as fast as you can move, lol.

I always noticed the same thing. But I’m short and stalky so maybe it makes pullups easier for me or something.

I always do:
Windshield wipers
Sitouts
Used to do sprints in between sets when I was at a gym with a track

I never do:
Deadlifts
Single Leg Presses on the Leg Press machine. I fucking love these things.
