do you workout at the GYM or at HOME?

i have a pretty nice home setup now… bench, DB’s, punching bag, gymnast rings, rock climbing pullup bar, balancing ball…

but i think i find it much easier to get a better workout at the gym… perhaps due to the presence of others and the lack of distractions…

fuuck, might have to restart my 24 membership, working out alone is kinda FTL
Gym, but I do have some equipment at home as well, like adjustable DB’s. And I do most of my stretching and stuff at home.

home, I have everything i need there and i will have buddies come over and work out with me.
I have the same set up as OP, I also have 2 kids so I never have extra time or money to make it out to the gym down the street.
really what i need is WEED

WORKING OUT ALONE IS AWESOME WHEN YOURE HIGH,

ONE LEGGED SHADOW BOXING ON THE BALANCING BALL TO MUSIC FTW

UGH
i do it at the GYM because my HOME is an APARTMENT without the right facilities to train. But if I had a HOME space i’d build a GYM in my HOME to train in.

this
Depends on what kind of workout i’m doing. If it’s conditioning or agility/speed I can just workout at home, if anything dealing with weights then i’m at the gym
lift at gym.

stretching pre gym at home and cardio at "home".

.
Home. P90x with 2 resistance bands and 15lbs-25lbs-35lbs dumbbells.

Wait, I just realize this faggot bumped an 8 week old thread. Fuck you you fucking p90x faggot.
I workout at WORK, we have a full gym here. God I love Corporate America’s careless spending.

p90x frowned upon in here?

running joke…

it’s better than sitting on your couch eating cheetos but in the grand scheme of fitness it’s pretty worthless

p90x
bumping 8 week old threads
being a faggot

take your pick. you have three strikes against you in one post.

Weird. In 2 months of doing p90x i got better results than 6 years at the gym. I highly recommend it.
p90x

Good for: the average joe who isn’t interested in learning the health and fitness aspect, someone with some spare change to spend, is looking to live a healthier lifestyle

Bad for: explaining that you need to eat a very good diet to be able to get the best results out of the program, making you pay a shit load of money for a fairly basic program, suggesting that you buy their other products so more money is spent, not differentiating between people who have never lifted a weight in their life and people who exercise regularly

Long story short: you’ve wasted your money, and you bumped an old thread. Hi five.

Nope Monster Gym in Montreal.

then you were doing it wrong

.
To each his own i guess, i like working out in the comfort of my home, no need to wait for dumbbells and/or machines.

that has nothing to do with the routine/setting and everything to do with you

fail

Most probably yes. p90x just clicked with me. It’s a whole new way of working out that i wasn’t used to. They have a great nutrition plan also.

so basically you’re incapable of critical thinking and need to be told what to do

so basically you’re incapable of critical thinking and need to be told what to do

That’s me. Luckily I just do what you guys tell me to do. Unfortunately I don’t always pick up on you guy’s sarcasm and I end up doing things like curls in the squat rack and making sure to only practice my lockout on lifts.
work out for six years

use 25 lb dumbbells

so basically you’re incapable of critical thinking and need to be told what to do

Yes you hit the nail right on the head.

Sorry but i lol’d at that

waiting for dumbbells and machines isn’t why you didn’t make progress in 6 years

Don’t get mad at me becuase you worked out in a gym for 6 years and made shit for progress.

When i say machines i mean benches, seats, and cardio machines.
Anyhoot. I see that nutrition and fitness aren’t welcome here so i’ll just hop out of here.

Bench =/= machine
Seats =/= machine

So lets expand the definition; you didn’t want to wait to use all of the equipment. I highly doubt your gym was constantly busy that all of the equipment was being used when you did go.

We just don’t like degenerates and morons that are unwilling to incorporate new concepts, are unable of critical thinking, and are arrogant assholes.

don’t let the door hit ya on the way out!
I workout at home and train people there as well, I have a pretty awesome setup

Besides this post i’m making right now i did not say 1 arrogant post in the thread, unlike you pretty much every one of yours was. So calm the fuck down, get off your throne and stop being a dick.

And to reply to your previous post yes, the gym was very busy, unless i went at 5:00 AM or after 11:00 PM which was not ideal for me.

Apparently you stepping out of F&N was an idle threat.

you can’t figure out fitness and nutrition for 6 years.

you’re spoon fed a plan that maps your fitness and nutrition before you finally see gains.

why would you be welcome to share your dearth of knowledge in fitness and nutrition? we can download p90x dvds and pdfs ourselves.

Off my throne and stop being a dick…. No you.

Though i’ve never been to montreal, but i’d imagine there’s more than one gym in the city
