Anyone recommend shoes? I need to get some new ones.

as for shoes, go to a running store and have them check your stride for over pronation and other issues.

Been running 3+ miles 4 times a week at least…. Then probably going to hop on the 16 week training program in a bit or so.

So I’ve been doing a lot of cardio lately, and my calf and lower portion of my leg (below the knee) has been getting really, really tight. It’s painful. It never used to do this and I used to be somewhat of a runner (2-3 miles a night about 4 nights a week). I recently switched to a new shoe that is actually a little bit too big for me. Could this be the case?
I guess for now, should I switch to lower impact cardio like the exercise bike / elleptical?

I have been doing a lot of running lately on the road, getting myself in shape for military basic training in 4 weeks.
I have gone from 89.6kg weight, to 82.4kg in a matter of weeks after changing my diet. I know have bran flakes for breakfast with 1% milk, fruit or veggie salad for lunch and dinner is mostly salad from my own yard with grilled fish,chicken or steak. I also drink lots of water during the day and herbal tea.
I have also been running 2, 5 and 10k runs twice a week as well as learning how to swim.

to maximize fat loss should cardio be done before or after weight training.
i always do it after or i run in the morning and workout at night…
It won’t affect more or less fat loss before or after.
The only thing that could suffer is your form when weight training because you are tired from doing cardio before.
I do it after.
Have chronic runner’s knee and was wondering if anyone else might experience the same, and if so, have any remedies/techniques/stretches/exercises they’d care to share?
Ran the houston marathon in 3:33, but only ran 2-3mi everyday for a month prior to that, so definitely know WHY my right knee gave out the day after. Now trying to get back into the swing of things and want to shoot for a Boston qualifying time.
On that note, anyone in CStat care to train?

I think I need better shoes or something. I can barely finish a 3k run but not because I get tired, but because my feet feels so hot that I have to stop and take off my shoes/socks and rest them up.
back when I was a runner the best part about finishing a run was getting to take my shoes off….
it could be the shoes you are wearing are not allowing your feet to breath…
You need a new pair of shoes. What are you using now?

I need maximum endurance and leg strength, quick hands. For the past two months I have just done some body weight exercises and ran a lot.
any suggestions at all are appreciated.
I kinda figured I would, but I am asking what to do in order to have maximum endurance and strength, just strength and during the third period you are tired, only endurance and you have pussy pushes. Also asking about what to do with arms for speed.
